Nobiskrug designated to build NVC 85 Y yacht line of 85-meter Yachts Designed and Powered by Rolls-Royce. German shipyard Nobiskrug GmbH has been selected as the European builder for the yacht.
Atlantic Yachts retained Rolls-Royce Marine to design and engineer the design, which has been designated – “NVC 85 Y”. Atlantic’s founder, Paul Madden, is the former US representative for Blohm & Voss and CRN.

All major power and propulsion systems are engineered and built by Rolls-Royce to be fully integrated for the best performance and operational reliability. Over 30 years experience in vessel design is applied throughout the engineering process to ensure the operational profile precisely matches that specified by the Yacht’s Owner. Rolls-Royce engineers and technicians oversee systems installations during construction, and are on-site during the critical installation and commissioning phases.

Nobiskrug GmbH:
Nobiskrug is a shipyard, situated at the river Eider in Rendsburg with more than 100 years of experience and tradition in the construction of large seagoing vessels. The shipyard focuses on the newbuilding and conversion of mega yachts longer than 60m. Furthermore Nobiskrug is specialized in the maintenance and repair of naval vessels. Since summer 2009 Nobiskrug is part of Abu Dhabi Mar. The French shipyard CMN and ADM Shipyards are also part of this group.
