Superyacht APOISE a luxury 67m Lürssen motor yacht has been sold by the owner and bought by a UK bidder at the Ritchie’s Superyacht Auction in Grand Cayman. The yacht sold for a price of $46.6 million dollars at the unreserved yacht auction.
Individuals took part in the superyacht auction from all over the world bidding on yacht APOISE. Bidders were either present in person or bided through a yacht sales broker or representative at the Ritz-Carlton Caymans. Some also participated by logging on online to the Ritchie Bros website.
Superyacht APOISE is a striking yacht that is able to accommodate as many as 14 passengers on board and has approximately 18 crew. She was designed by naval architects Lurssen and Espen Oeino and Zuretti Interior Design produced the interior design and styling. Yacht APOISE is This 67 metre (220 ft) LOA, was built by Lurssen of Germany in 2006 and received a refit in 2009.
The winning bid price to sell superyacht APOISE came in below the estimated worth of APOISE, which is around $87,000,000. There is some comment that a yacht broker could have achieved a higher price for the seller. However, Stephen Branch from Ritchie Bros. auction house is reported to have said that the superyacht auction was a full success:
“It was very good for us, the owner is extremely happy with the outcome”.
Dave Ritchie, the former Canadian owner of luxury yacht Apoise, and co-founder of Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers previously commented: “I really believe in the auction system.”
