53.55m motor yacht Touya was originally built as a Cable Laying and Repair ship in 1968 by prestigious Dutch builder E. J. Smit & Zoon. Her current Owner discovered the vessel, known as Fils De Grace while laying in Italy during the Summer of 2009 and decided to transform it in to the Timeless, Elegant as well as Comfortable Ocean-going Touya superyacht at one of Turkey’s Premiere shipyards RMK Yachts, featuring naval architecture by Mulder Design and exterior as well as interior by Tim Saunders Yacht Design. Unfortunately due to an unexpected and tragic loss of one of the family members in 2011, the vessel´s refit was paused and it has ultimately been decided to offer it for sale.

The 53.55m superyacht Touya is undergoing a comprehensive Luxury Conversion at RMK Yachts. The transformation encompasses extensive Exterior remodelling, a newly devised Internal layout, Custom-built furniture, state-of-the-art Systems and a full package of Engineering works. This workflow is intended to unlock the vessel’s full potential resulting in an ‘as new’ international standard superyacht complying to Bureau Veritas and MCA regulations for unrestricted navigation.
DESIGN OVERVIEW
The luxury yacht Touya, has been conceived from the keel-up. Her Interior Layout and Guest / Crew Circulation have been optimised to provide great comfort to 21st century Private and Charter Guests as well as her Crew. Her true ship origin provides her with great strength and provenance as well as an unbeatable range. Touya has been specified with the very best in terms of new machinery, electric and electronic systems, meeting all of the latest safety standards.
Touya yacht’s interior is filled with an array of the finest custom made materials ranging from coloured Leathers and Suedes to digitally controlled light switches. Her furniture features real Macassar Ebony throughout the Guest accommodation, each cabin featuring a different and rare burl wood, complimented by matching Leather and Suede panels. Each en-suite is decked-out from wall to ceiling with honeycomb backed Natural Stone, hand picked in Italy.
The cabin floors comprise of European Walnut planks surrounded by Green Ebony boarders and punctuated by islands of pure Silk carpets. Furniture is detailed with custom bronze draw pulls & fine inlays, hidden LED foot lighting and invisible Air conditioning vents. TVs are all hidden behind artwork or fitted with electric lifts and every function in each space can be controlled by iPad, iPod or by Manual switch.
