That tickets for the World Superyacht Awards 2012 are now SOLD OUT for a seventh consecutive year, as announced by the Boat International Media. The organisers of this prestigious event look forward to welcoming a VIP guest list of superyacht owners, builders as well as designers to the gala evening at Çırağan Palace Kempinski on 5th May, where the winners will be unveiled.

Welcome Cocktail at Armaggan, Friday 4th May
Guests attending the gala evening are invited to attend a private evening and Welcome Cocktail at the luxury boutique Armaggan.
Armaggan is located in heart of historic Istanbul, close to the Grand Bazaar. It is a unique mix of gallery, store and restaurant which brings together the very best in modern Turkish arts and crafts and food and wine. Modern art, by the best local artists, textiles and homewares, leather goods and jewellery all handcrafted by Turkish artisans are brought together in one building. Uniquely, everything is designed and made in Turkey and whilst the exhibits are contemporary they all owe much to the traditional Turkish design heritage.
Guests will have the exclusive opportunity to explore Armaggan after-hours and enjoy cocktails and canapés on the terrace of one of Istanbul’s most popular modern attractions.
The invitations to this event can be extended only to guests attending the World Superyacht Awards gala evening.
Cultural Programme
Guests are also invited to participate in an exciting cultural programme of events in the days surrounding the gala evening organised by Boat International Media and its local partners and sponsors with the assistance of Plan Tours. Activities include visits to some of Istanbul’s most famous attractions including the Blue Mosque, Rahmi Koç Museum and Topkapi Palace, as well as shopping at the Grand Bazaar and Turkish Baths at Hurrem Sultan Hammam. VIP Tender Service
Maxi Dolphin, Alen Yacht and Tansu are pleased to offer a VIP Tender service for superyacht owners attending the World Superyacht Awards. Tenders will be available on a ‘first come first served’ complimentary basis for short cruises in the historic Bosphorus waterway.
Yard Tours
Superyacht owners, designers and VIP guests are invited to explore the shipyards of Perini Navi Istanbul on Friday 4th May and Proteksan Turquoise and RMK Marine on Saturday 5th May. Participation in the yard tours will be strictly by invitation.
Accommodation
There are still a number of rooms remaining at the Çırağan Palace Kempinski, with special rates available to guests attending the gala evening.
