The month of July was very important for the Rodriguez Group, one of the main players in luxury yachting, specializing in the design, building and sale of yachts that measure over 24 meters in length. The same week saw delivery of the Sanlorenzo 40 Alloy motor yacht 111 to Viareggio in Italy as well as Italyachts’ 43-metre superyacht, delivered to Golfe-Juan in France.
In this difficult economic climate, the French Group has set itself apart with the sale of these two units of over 40 meters long, jewels in the crown of Italian shipbuilding. This exceptional event confirms the importance and, above all, the potential of the superyacht sector. The French Group shares this success with the Sanlorenzo shipyards, as its exclusive partner in France and Monaco, and with Italyachts, which has granted it global exclusive rights.
The 40 Alloy superyacht 111 is the seventh of the Sanlorenzo aluminum range, with exterior lines and interiors designed by Francesco Paszkowski.
The qualities of the 111 yacht have been celebrated internationally by the awarding of prizes such as the “World Superyacht Award”, granted in London for two consecutive years, and the “Showboats Design Award” won in the United States.
The prestige yacht 111 also owes her success to innovative technical and aesthetic elements, such as the wheelhouse doors on the upper deck that open into “butterfly wings” and the popular “balconies on the sea,” located in the main lounge, the master cabin and the gym.
The excellence of the finishes and the materials, such as Malayat stone in the bathrooms, and the quality of the wooden trim, such as burnt oak and sanded ash, reinforce the unique character of the 40-metre luxury yacht 111. With this vessel, the shipyard has asserted its talent for customization, allowing the owner to choose a style based on his needs and desires.
The Italyachts’ 43 meter superyacht ( an example is motor yacht Elsea), which can be defined as a “sport-fly” vessel, is the result of close collaboration between the Rodriguez Group and the Italian shipyard of the same name. The architect Andrea Bacigalupo designed the exterior lines while the designer Cristiano Gatto created the interior decor and fittings.
The truly amazing space of 18 meters on the main deck contains the dining room and the lounge. The three versions of the interior layout provided by Cristiano Gatto allow for three, four or five cabins. The owner can freely choose the layout of the interior fittings and the decor; this latest version with five cabins combines white leather with lacquered wenge.
In terms of silhouette, sharp lines mingle with sinuous curves to create an elegant style. Her performance is seductive: the three MTU 16V2000 M94 engines bring the Italyachts’ 43m yacht to a cruising speed of 30 knots and the propulsion system, supplied by two Kamewa Rolls-Royce waterjets and by a Booster 71BII, leaves no room for any vibration or noise.
Maneuverability and limited draft complete the profile of the exceptional 43m luxury yacht by Italyachts.
