Endeavour Quay has announced today the arrival of the luxury motor yacht INFINITY for her first complete refit since her launch in 2007. The refit of the Moonen 94 superyacht Infinity will take place at Endeavour Quay’s Portsmouth Harbour facility.
The owner has chosen Endeavour Quay as it offers an environment where the captain can employ his chosen specialist contractors as well as using the wide range of marine related businesses on site. In addition, Endeavour Quay can handle such vessels safely and confidently, in and out of the water and into the undercover facility.
The 130 ton, 30 metre motor yacht, will be lifted and moved using Endeavour Quay’s own specialist equipment. Once ashore and safely undercover, the works-list includes a full re-spray, fitting of new stabilisers and a complete engine and electronics survey. The work is expected to last until March 2013.
Captain Alex Cory commented “We are very pleased to have Endeavour Quay as our “home port” this winter. I love the buzz about the place; the different types of boats being worked on, all in a yard with so much British boat building heritage. The Open Yard Policy also enables me to use my own contractors as well as those on site. The excellent reputation of the team and facilities here means I am looking forward to getting the boat ashore and on with the work.”
Motor Yacht Infinity joins the likes of Sailing yacht Silver Tip, charter yacht Matelot, Luxury Yacht Voyager and the famous J-class’ yachts Velsheda and Rainbow who have all recently utilised the facilities at Endeavour Quay.
Tim Newell, Boatyard Manager added, “We are delighted to welcome MY Infinity to Endeavour Quay and pleased that vessels such as these continue to realise what a fantastic facility we have to offer. These projects also provide a significant boost to the south coast’s marine industry income and employment as well as injecting funds into the local economy.”
