The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix is the final event in the Formula One calendar and runs from the 24th-26th November. Racing takes place at the Yas Marina track from late afternoon into the early evening as spectators watch on from their stalls – or their superyachts: Yas Marina is designed with track-side berths for some of the world’s largest superyachts, allowing guests a literal bird’s eye view of the action while relaxing in the Jacuzzi on the sundeck aft.
Although many come for the event alone, even those in your group who aren’t racing fans will find numerous reasons to attend the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix:

The sports
While in Abu Dhabi there is plenty of opportunities to participate in sports as well as spectate: the Yas Links golf course is a short distance from the marina, and the surrounding beaches are ideal for non-motorised water sports and land-based activities while Mirfa Beach is where you can let loose with the tenders and jet skis.
Sherakhan – water toys
The weather
While the Mediterranean is cooling off, the Arabian Gulf remains warm and the temperature comfortable in the mid-to-high 20s. The sea temperature hovers around the same mark, if slightly warmer, and coupled with cloudless skies the area is attractive on its own or as an addition to any luxury yacht charter in the Indian Ocean.

The party life
Whether chartering as a family, on your own, or for a corporate event, there will be plenty of other superyachts in attendance with daily opportunities to meet, mingle, make contacts and party the night away.

The family-friendly luxury lifestyle
Over $40 billion was spent on converting Yas Island into a multi-purpose luxury leisure center and the services and facilities are centered around the superyacht lifestyle. As well as numerous high-end brands and restaurants, amenities include the Yas Links golf course, du Arena for live music performances, SeaWorld Abu Dhabi, Yas WaterWorld, and the world’s fastest roller coaster at Ferrari World. Warner Bros. World is expected to open in 2018, adding six theme lands based on the past of old and young family members alike.

The onward destinations
The Maldives and the Seychelles are two of the most well-known destinations of outstanding natural beauty in the Indian Ocean; after days of among the glittering city skyscrapers and thriving night scenes, the secretive beaches of uninhabited isles present the perfect opportunity for some time to oneself without the worry of an itinerary looming in the back of the mind.
Break out the water toys, spend time with hobbies or simply savor having the Jacuzzi all to yourself after fun-filled nights socializing with guests and visitors.
Among the best superyachts available for charter for the event are 77m SILVER FAST, 60m ST DAVID, 73m TITANIA, 70m SHERAKHAN, 69m SALUZI, 69m MEAMINA, 35m DXB and 27m MAJESTY 88. For more information and to make a booking, please contact the friendly brokers at CharterWorld.
