As part of its marketing team expansion, the UK Bristol-based Yachting Pages, the world’s leading superyacht directory, is pleased to have welcomed top marketer, Kerry O’Neill, as new member of its team.
Kerry has six years’ experience working as a marketer and writer in the public, private and non-profit sectors. She also runs an award-winning blog.
Kerry’s first-hand experience of the superyacht industry and its client base stems from positions on the French Riviera and in upscale ski resorts such as Chamonix Mont Blanc. During that time she has built an impressive list of key industry contacts.
Her book credits include co-writer on eight titles in the Chic series of luxury travel books (including Spain Chic, Italy Chic and Caribbean Chic) and as contributor to the World’s Best Hotels book. She’s also a regular guest on BBC Radio Five Live where she speaks on transport issues.
With a long-standing interest in the maritime world, Kerry said she was delighted with her appointment at Yachting Pages – describing the move as being to the right company at the right time.
Kerry explained, “Our marketing department continues to grow with the needs and development of the business and its new services, such as Yachting Pages Delivers – the new hand-delivery service, we have recently introduced.
“I’m already starting to plan our presence at international boat shows next year including the Antibes, Cannes and Monaco yacht shows and the Fort Lauderdale and Dubai International boat shows, which are all major projects.
“This job is such a great opportunity and it’s rare to find a company like Yachting Pages that will provide the necessary time and resources to do the job properly. I really like their philosophy!”
Steve Crowe, managing director and founder of Yachting Pages is delighted to have secured Kerry as part of the team. He commented, “Yachting Pages has grown rapidly since I first developed the business in 2004. As an employer, I value each and every member of our staff and I’m very pleased to welcome Kerry to the Yachting Pages team.”
