Italian engineer Sergio Cutolo, the founder of the prestigious and well known naval engineering company Hydro Tec based in Varazze, is proud to unveil more of the renderings of his latest project: the Columbus 125′ Hybrid superyacht. The stunning new motor yacht Columbus 125′ Hybrid was very recently sold to a Russian buyer by Palumbo Shipyard only three months after the launch of the motor yacht Prima (ex Columbus 177) also featuring excellent design by Sergio Cutolo of Hydro Tec.
The new Columbus 125′ Hybrid motor yacht features exceptional design and is believed to be a real groundbreaking concept in the yachting industry.
Columbus 125′ Hybrid yacht was created with the environment in mind by reducing her fuel consumption and over all environmental impact. The 37.86 metre superyacht will feature a beam of 8.20 metres, three decks and large internal spaces. The accommodation on board of the new Columbus 125′ Hybrid superyacht will be provided to 9 guests (8+1) in three guest suites and the Owner suite. Crew will find accommodation in three cabins plus one captain’s cabin.
One of the main features of the Sergio Cutolo designed motor yacht Columbus 125′ Hybrid is the magnificent flybridge as well as her exterior styling.
Her full displacement hull as well as her superstructure will be built in aluminium providing for reduced weight and lower fuel consumption. The Columbus125’ Hybrid motor yacht has an optional diesel electric hybrid propulsion system, constructed with the intention of having a minimal impact on the environment with a large cruising range of 5,000 nm.
Once again, Sergio Cutolo and his company Hydro Tec Creative Naval Architecture have created a remarkable masterpiece with impressive exterior design. Palumbo shipyard in Naples is scheduled to commence her construction very shortly.
