The all-new 40-metre hybrid-powered motor yacht Impero 40 will be built by the well known Italian manufacturer, Admiral shipyard. Delivery of the highly innovative superyacht Impero 40 is expected in December 2015.
Great news arrives from Sergei Dobroserdov at Nakhimov Yachts that he’s signed a contract for the construction of another hybrid-powered motor yacht at Admiral shipyard.
This 40 meter Impero series full aluminium yacht will be built at new Admiral yard in Carrara. She will have a revolutionary Siemens hybrid power system enabling the yacht to cruise at 10 knots on electric engines consuming just 60 liters of fuel per hour and have double transatlantic range. Using combined power, the yacht will be capable of reaching a maximum speed of 20 knots. In line with the owner’s request for a very efficient and silent vessel the yacht will be equipped with modern variable speed generators.
Metallic paint work will be done by elite Dutch applicators from Klaver.
The exterior design is by Luca Dini while naval architecture is by the yard. General arrangement is by Dobroserdov Design.
Luxury yacht Impero 40 will have five guests staterooms, large salon with full height windows and spacious sun deck. All designed in a modern version of art-deco style.
Nakhimov will do new construction management for the owner and after delivery will charter this LY3 yacht as a central agent.
This is the 4th new construction contract signed by Nakhimov at Admiral shipyard in 2013. Nakhimov has already 45, 52 and 55 meters yachts under construction.
