November 19 in Amsterdam will see the Australian Industry Marine Export Group (AIMEX) launch their annual publication, the Australian Marine Export Industry Directory, at METS for the very first time. The annual printed publication is distributed all over the world and is also available in a fully interactive digital format.
AIMEX CEO MaryAnne Edwards said “It makes sense to launch the 2014 edition at METS given this is the world’s largest marine trade exhibition. The show’s target groups are yacht builders, naval architects, repair yards, distributors, dealers, wholesalers, captains, marina operators and equipment manufacturers from around the world, making this the perfect environment to launch the capability statement for the Australian marine export industry.”
In the past the directory was distributed in January each year.
The 84 page publication outlines the innovation of the Australian marine export industry and what is on the horizon within the sector for 2014. The feature articles include an analysis of how the global industry views the Australian sector, an overview of what the Australian superyacht sector is up to and an analysis of the expanding commercial marine sector.
Also available in a digital format, the magazine can be viewed by visiting link. The online edition features a search facility with an easy to use page turning function. All features are flash player compatible, making it easy to view on any iPhone/android phone. There are further opportunities for readers to engage with the content with the inclusion of embedded links directing readers to company websites, social media sites and YouTube pages.
This online magazine will be distributed to AIMEX’s extensive database of global contacts, including boat builders, agents, distributers, industry and government contacts and readers will have the ability to access the publication anytime, anywhere. In addition to distribution, the Directory will be available at the Australian Pavilion at AIMEX supported international shows.
