Dutch shipbuilder Amels has sold a 60-metre AMELS 200 motor yacht from its Limited Editions range during the 60th edition of the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.
Tim Heywood produced the sleek and contemporary exterior design for the AMELS 200, while the unique interiors are the work of Reymond Langton Design. She shares the same naval architecture, high volume and hybrid-electrical power technology as its predecessor, the AMELS 188, as well as a lift (elevator) servicing four decks and an air-conditioned sundeck gym. The AMELS 200 also has significant improvements on her predecessor, offering larger aft decks and a broader swim platform in addition to floor-to-ceiling windows in the Owner’s suite.
The accommodation provides for up to 12 guests over six en-suite cabins with a crew of 13 for efficient operations and excellent service on board.
The engines provide a top speed of 15.5 knots and a transatlantic cruising range of 4,500 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 13 knots.
The AMELS 200 motor yacht is currently under construction and is expected for delivery in spring 2021.
