The latest LE180 superyacht EJI (ex Project 472) was launched at Amels shipyard in March this year. She has now been delivered to her owner, while Amels reported the delivery took place one week earlier than originally planned. Motor yacht EJI will be cruising the waters of the Mediterranean this summer together with other luxury superyachts built by Amels.
Same as the other luxury yachts in the Limited Edition series, EJI’s exterior was designed by Tim Heywood and interior spaces was the work of Laura Sessa. Built on a proven platform of the highest quality, EJI provides great comfort and outstanding seakeeping capabilities. The inviting and relaxing ambience onboard was created by the more interior styling with high gloss finishes, use of lavish materials and beautiful furnishing.
Video of EJI’s Captain Christian Power describing his experience at the Amels yard:
The indoor-outdoor flow has been thorough though through: there is a large Beach Club onboard, three folding balconies and alfresco dining spaces. Among the impressive features, there is a 180 sqm sun deck, 7-person Jacuzzi and swim platform.
The captain of EJI, Christian Power, confirmed that EJI showed an impressive performance during the sea trials, which were completed in just one day. It’s worth mentioning that Captain Christian Power had rated Amels’s work and organisation skills as “10 out of 10”, which also contribute to the delivery ahead of schedule.
“The AMELS 180 has been the world’s best-selling 55-metre yacht design since 2007,” comments AMELS Commercial Director Rose Damen. “We’ve been able to do that through constantly evolving and introducing new features.”
