The Italian shipyard, Permare, lets its customers realise their dreams, especially for what concerns the customisation of their yachts, bringing to life pieces as unique as their Owners. During the Dubai International Boat Show 2014, the yard will be showcasing motor yacht Amer 92′ Deluxe, where the customer chooses an artistic theme on which to develop the Interior furnishings as well as decoration.
In this case, the Owner has requested a modern review and reinterpretation of Art Nouveau style, using techniques and materials which are characteristics of the Art Deco, adapting them to the nautical use.
The furniture, characterised by soft and curved lines, has been made according to the tradition of woodwork typical of the beginning of last century, by matching walnut burl and Zebrano walnut. The whole is enriched with inlays and glass stained or hand painted by Florentine craftsmen.
For the decorative glasses and mirrors, Permare has chosen to work with the glassware of the Maestro Vetraio Guido Polloni, that has been creating spectacular stained glasses since 1919. The upholstery of the leather sittings has been quilted using the typical capitonnè effect from the Deco tradition, as well as decorated silk wall panels. Concerning the floor, light colored carpet, edged tone-on-tone, has been adopted.
For the lighting, as well as standing Tiffany lamps that enrich the living area, Deco style lightings have been chosen to be used on the Main and Lower Deck, bringing into prominence the paintings and mirrors with handmade decorations. Attention has been paid to every single detail: even for the bathrooms, high quality accessories in polished and glazed brass have been chosen.
The Owner of Amer 92’ Deluxe has chosen to further enhance the yacht by her painting, creating a delicate and elegant contrast between the hull’s white golden colour and the white colour of the superstructure.
The result is a sumptuous and spectacular boat, unique one of its kind, reflecting the owners’ strong personalities and their sophisticated taste.
For what concerns the technical aspect, MTU engines have been chosen for the first time, as they ensure optimal performances in addition to the minimal noise levels, and a multifunction stern platform “Transformer”, which provides services such as tender lift, hoist, gangway and swim ladder.
The gyro stabilisers installed, produced by the innovative Italian company Item Mare, have been designed with the purpose of allowing and promoting the use of the yacht in the roadstead, ensuring onboard comfort even in rough seas conditions. The system, simple, compact and reliable is characterised by a great ease of maintenance.
The attention required to design the Amer 92’ is deep and multivalent, but projected to a result which identifies the track for a future in which the real modernity is not the research for special effects, which get consumed over few months, but the ability to understand and respect different personalities and stories that come together in a reality which has become globalised.
