The ‘New American 92 Commuter’ yacht by Setzer Yacht Architects and Front Street Shipyard is designed for extended weekend cruising, representing a combination of retro-classic styling with a modern underbody, designed for speed, responsive performance and sea-keeping comfort. Luxury yacht ‘New American 92 Commuter’ expands upon earlier Setzer projects, allowing for owner operation or operation with minimal crew. The yacht belongs to the 2014 portfolio of “New American Motoryachts”, a collection of more than 18 new vessel concepts that studio president Ward Setzer created while on winter sabbatical in the Caribbean.
Pilothouse and flybridge helm stations are designed to maximize visibility for easy passage and docking. An expansive aft deck allows for al-fresco dining or shelters guests while underway. A separate crew / captain’s stateroom features private access separate from guest spaces. The interior of the New American 92 Commuter yacht allows for 2 generous staterooms as well as a full beam master suite.
