Set to run from May 14 to 16, this year’s American Superyacht Forum will host 250 US business leaders, coming to Las Vegas for serious discussion as well as debate on what they can do better to salvage the potential from continuous market decline in the US superyacht industry.
The decision to hold the American Superyacht Forum for the first time in the vibrant, exciting location of Las Vegas is however informed by a serious intent. By moving away from the typical hubs of superyacht activity like Newport, Seattle and Fort Lauderdale, everyone who attends the American Superyacht Forum is guaranteed to be able to focus on the industry’s critical mission and develop a better way of doing business for the long-term health of the US industry.
The event brochure for the American Superyacht Forum, hosted by Superyacht Events, part of the Superyacht Group, is now available to view online. It includes details of the conference and social programme, event location and ways to register.
“In pulling data from the recently published The Superyacht Annual Report and Superyacht Intelligence Order Book it is clear that the USA is in need of a serious injection of new build & refit activity,” commented the Superyacht Group Chairman, Martin Redmayne.
“Combined with the recent reports on the US Economy and the state of the American Ultra High Net Worth figures, something doesn’t quite add up. Perhaps the problem is that US owners, investors and potential buyers are all keeping their heads down and staying off the radar on domestic soil. The knock-on effect for the US Superyacht Industry could be significant if the current business leaders and investors do not develop a strategy for the future and focus on building market stability for the major shipyards within the USA.”
The 2013 American Superyacht Forum promises to be the most valuable, timely and powerful conference Superyacht Events have ever organised, in one of America’s most exciting and unique cities.
