The third annual survey for a 47-metre ISA motor yacht will be performed by Rivergate Marina, one of Australia’s leading superyacht refit and project management destinations. The 47m ISA superyacht is currently travelling from South East Asia to Australia and is expected to reach the marina in September 2015, where she will stay for a planned period of six weeks.
The 47m ISA luxury yacht will be lifted in the 600 tonne Yard facility, neighbouring Rivergate’s own 300 tonne hardstand. She will undergo project management of new generators, tanks, internal painting and a range of other engineering and mechanical works.
Rivergate welcomed the 47m ISA yacht for the first time in 2011. She underwent a six month refit, which included a complete exterior refinish; the largest special effect superyacht refinish ever completed in Australia.
The 47m ISA superyacht returned to Rivergate in 2014 for a complete overhaul of her stabilisers, as well as removal, overhaul and refit of pumps and valves. All works to the vessel, managed by Rivergate, have been performed to a Lloyd’s class standard.
Rivergate now boasts a long standing relationship with the yacht’s captain and crew and are thrilled to be working with the team again. “I think their returning to Rivergate is a reflection of the works we’ve completed on the vessel in the past, but it’s also the result of our good working relationship,” states Andrew Cannon, Rivergate Marina’s General Manager, “The whole team looks forward to their return, the Captain knows everyone in the team and we enjoy having them here.”
