Taiwan-based shipyard, Horizon, hosted another successful edition of the Horizon Yacht Owner Rendezvous from May 7 to 10, 2015. Luxury yacht owners and guests had a unique opportunity to enjoy an amazing long weekend on the fabulous Harbour Island in Northern Eleuthera, Bahamas.
Harbour Island was an ideal venue for the 4th Horizon Owner Rendezvous, thanks to its pink sand beaches, turquoise blue water, fresh seafood, as well as Goombay Smashes galore. A total number of nine Horizon vessels attended the event, including the E78 cockpit motor yacht Wild Duck, the E82 superyacht Sweet Sarah, the E82 Deck of Cards, the E76 motor yacht Do It Now, the V74 cockpit yacht Satori, the PC60 skylounge power catamaran Guinnevere, the PC60 power catamaran La Manguita, as well as the E65 All’s Well, all hosted by the five star Valentines Resort and Marina.
For four days, owners and guests enjoyed beautiful, sunny weather and a rich programme, from Thursday’s welcome cocktail party and dinner at Aquapazza to Friday’s beach day at Valentines, and Saturday’s Disco Party at Coral Sands to Sunday’s farewell breakfast, to name but a few. Of a great success was Horizon’s golf cart decorating competition, which was held on Saturday afternoon and was the demonstration of the group’s festive spirit as they took a tour of the island, showing off the decorations and stopping for a frosty Goombay Smash at Beyond the Reef to close out the tour.
All-in-all, it was an amazing 2015 Horizon Owner Rendezvous in Harbour Island, and Horizon look forward to what next year’s 5th edition of the event will bring.
