It has been a great year for Asia Pacific Supeyachts (APS) Indonesia. This year, the company has successfully brought some of the world’s largest private yachts and charter yachts into Indonesia, a fabulous Southeast Asia yacht holiday destination.
Asia Pacific Superyachts Indonesia and Philippines Director Richard Lofthouse participated in the Monaco Yacht Show 2015, as part of the APS delegation at MYA. Richard stated: “It has been another huge year for APS Indonesia. We have brought some of the biggest yachts on the planet into Indonesia and this year has been no different. We have also seen a lot of return clients thus far this year which is very gratifying. There is so much to explore that once our clients trust our ability to support then throughout the archipelago, they want to come back for more.”
It has also been a very important year for the Philippines. The recent establishment of APS there has seen some of the world’s largest yachts visit this fabulous country.
Richard Lofthouse, who has also pioneered the APS push into the Philippines, said: “We weren’t expecting three ships in the 100m range to support in our first year of operations. Thus we had to scramble hard. Nobody had ever brought ships of this size into the Philippines before and it was a process to be able to deal with that. In the end we managed it and were able to provide the levels of support APS is known for.”
“Asia Pacific Superyachts Indonesia stern to facility in Benoa Harbour, Bali is booked through to September this year. It is the only area in Bali where your berth is guaranteed. And, APS Indonesia is the only company in Indonesia that can process Duty Free ship spares. Over the years we have saved our clients hundreds of thousands of dollars in import tax,” added Richard.
