Back from the excellent success met during latest European Boat Shows, Arcadia Yachts have a busy year ahead with the lamination of hull and superstructure of the first ARCADIA 115’ superyacht completed and five Arcadia 85 motor yachts to be delivered by next year.
Two units of the Arcadia 85 motor yacht have been sold to Nord European buyers and are currently under construction for delivery in spring 2011.
Works are also in progress for three more Arcadia 85’ to be delivered within next summer. Arcadia Yachts are in advanced negotiation with prospective buyers coming from previous experiences as owners of classic flying-bridge yachts rather than more sportive fast-commuters found in the Arcadia range. These negotiations confirm the market cross-trend to welcome the up-to-date philosophy of Arcadia motor yachts for living a new lifestyle experience on board.
Meanwhile, lamination of hull and superstructure of the first ARCADIA 115’ has been completed and fitting out of interior layout and decoration has started. The interior layout and design was chosen by her French owners, realised by the Arcadia Yachts technical department.
The ARCADIA 115 project follows the same basic concept solutions chosen for Arcadia 85’ motor yachts that are now accompanying the success and growth of the ARCADIA brand thanks to its unique characteristics:
• Eco-friendly approach, also due to special solar panels, greatly heat-proofing, capable to generate power to run main electrical systems on board all through natural day-light, without using of generators;
• Considerable reduction of running costs thanks to solar panel technology used and to the hydrodynamic high efficiency of the Arcadia hulls that keep very low liter/mile consumption ratio, still preserving performance flexibility sailing from 10 up to 19 knots, and granting a range up to 1.700 miles.
• Brightness and transparency of ARCADIA superstructure allows a 360° view onboard offering absolute involvement in the surrounding nature.
Arcadia Yachts are also pleased to announce the appointment of Maurizio Baldoni, one of the most qualified managers in the International yachting market who recently joined ARCADIA as Sales and Marketing Director of the Company.
