The 53rd Genoa International Boat Show, to be held from 2 to 6 October 2013, will see a new architectural element characterising this year’s event: “RED WALL”. The Fiera di Genova building site is seeing a completely renovated layout take shape for the 2013 Boat Show.
Right now, the Red Wall is going up, the big-impact architectural element that runs right through the Show. Whereas the elegant user-friendly new stands have already been set up, which will ensure a more pleasant, flexible experience for exhibitors and visitors alike.
The themed areas for an easy visit around the show have been marked out. This is in fact the biggest new entry at the exhibition, with all displays divided into different categories: Power Village, for engines, Boat Discovery for new owners looking to make their first purchase, Sailing World, a paradise for sailors, Motorboats, where the maxiyachts are berthed and, finally, Tech Trade, the realm of accessories.
But the guide word for this Show will be “Experientiality”.
The Sea Experience is an exciting interactive setting of practical tests and proposals regarding the sea and related activities: from sea sports, to tourism, learning courses, clothing, publishing, etc.
Initially devised as part of the Sea Pavilion, the experiential itinerary, also to meet requests from exhibitors themselves, has “come out of pavilion S and now enriches spaces that were traditionally “lived and loved” at the Show.
The heart of the Sea Experience will therefore be the small quay at the end of the pier that houses Sailing World, where water sports will be trialled in the sea.
The sea theatre inside pavilion B which will house themed shows and performances will be called the Sea Experience Stage, while pavilion D will be the Sea Experience Shopping Center selling clothing, accessories and gifts.
Setting up will continue over the weeks to come at a fast pace, so that the show is ready to open to the public on 2 October.
