Saturday morning, March 21, 2015, saw the arrival of motor yacht Dragonfly in Vanuatu, a week on from the devastation of Cyclone Pam – the news featured on CharterWorld here. The 73-metre Silver Yachts mega yacht Dragonfly reached the region after steaming for 1,600 miles in under four days.
The initial task for superyacht Dragonfly and her crew from the Vanuatu government will be to supply aid and provide a medical response to the Shepherd Islands, just north east of Efate, where Port Vila is positioned. This area has seen over 80% of the villages destroyed and has limited access to fresh water, food and shelter.
