Following a strong presence at the 2012 and 2013 events, the Asia Pacific Superyacht Association (APSA) will once again attend the Singapore Yacht Show, exhibiting at booth B1A.
Colin Dawson, Chairman of the Associati on, commented ‘I am pleased that we can again show strong support for what is becoming the most important yacht show in the region. The growth of the show and the fact that so many of our Members are participating demonstrates the importance attached to this region as an area for growth of the superyacht industry’.
The superyacht stream to the Asia Pacific Yachting Conference, being run just prior to the show, has APSA members making up a majority of its speakers and panelists. Dawson went on to comment ‘APSA believes it is crucial to the continued growth of superyacht visits to openly discuss issues that affect the region, whether these be myth or fact. The region has a significant amount to offer visiting yachts and unless perceived problems are discussed openly and resolved there will always be a hesitation in the minds of Captains to come here’.
APSA is open to new members and looks forward to meeting industry players who may wish to join the Association to help the growth of the region as a destination for superyachts.
