The Asia Pacific Superyacht Association (APSA) is dedicated to promoting Asia and the South Pacific as a fully-operational cruising ground, and the region was further placed within the spotlight with the Asia Superyacht Night, which marked the start of the Monaco Yacht Show 2018 up on the Monte Carlo Novotel rooftop.
The evening of networking and entertainment doubled in size in 2018 and was attended by an estimated 200 industry professionals and luxury yacht owners. The event has become so successful that a similar event – the ‘Asia Superyacht Night: Singapore Edition’ – is scheduled for Asia’s prestigious Singapore Yacht Show in 2019.
As summer shifts to the southern hemisphere, more superyachts are discovering destinations such as Indonesia, French Polynesia and Australia and New Zealand as clean and welcoming luxury yacht charter grounds with a wealth of opportunities to engage with local cultures as well as local wildlife.
The next event in the Asia-Pacific region is the International Cruise & Yachting Festival in Hong Kong, where the association will be hosting the widely popular APSA Quarterly Drinks.
The Asia Pacific charter grounds will kick off 2019 with the Asia Superyacht Rendezvous from January 18th-20th. The invitation-only regatta event will take place at the SALA Resort in Phuket within Mai Khao Bay.
