The Australian Superyacht and Marine Export Conference (ASMEX 2011) held immediately prior to Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show provided the platform for a number of highly valuable networking events amongst conference delegates, industry identities and dignitaries.
Following the successful two day conference a group of delegates extended opportunities to network playing nine holes of golf on The Pines Golf Course, Sanctuary Cove.
Superyacht Australia CEO MaryAnne Edwards said “it is constantly proven that social events are where the real business is done, it was important to ensure we offered maximum networking opportunities amongst delegates in the short period of time, Sanctuary Cove’s facilities lend itself very well to an afternoon on the golf course and many delegates embraced this opportunity.”
Azzura Marine supported the event providing appropriate merchandise to the group.
Delegates who participated in the afternoon represented companies such as Azzura Marine, All State Partners (Gold Coast), OCEAN Media, Maritime Projects, Integrated Marine Group – New Zealand, and Aurora Global Logistics.
The Australia Superyacht and Marine Export Conference was strongly supported by industry and government including headline sponsorship by MTU Detroit Diesel Australia, Gold Sponsors – Business Gold Coast, Gold Coast City Council and Tourism Australia, Venue Hosts – Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, Official Media Partner – Ocean Media, and Supporting Sponsors – Marine Tech Industries Australia, Queensland Government, Department of Innovation, Industry, Science and Research (DIISR), Austrade and Binhai New Area Government.
