Yesterday, March 10, 2014, saw AB Inflatables USA announce that it has successfully auctioned off the custom pink trimmed 2014 Nautilus 12 DLX superyacht tender to raise awareness for Breast Cancer, known as ‘Project Pink’.
“We are very pleased to have sent a check for $20,000 to the American Cancer Society last week”, said Jeffrey McCurdy, President of AB Inflatables USA in a statement. “This custom built Nautilus 12 DLX was designed to raise awareness within the boating community and give back to this important cause.”
“Project Pink would not have been possible without the support of our suppliers,” McCurdy continued. “We would like to thank AB Marine Group and Pennel & Flipo for the pink Orca® fabric, Powerboat Services, Inc., of Fort Lauderdale, FL, for donating their services and time, Pacer Group also of Fort Lauderdale, FL, for the custom pink ribbon designed dash panel, Gator Upholstery of Oakland Park, FL, for the pink piping and upholstery work, the American Cancer Society and last, but certainly not least, Purpose Driven Transportation for delivering Project Pink to her new owners in California.”
The Nautilus 12 DLX yacht tender, with pink trim and a pink 40 horsepower four stroke outboard, is beautifully crafted with elegant lines and painstaking attention to detail. The Nautilus series is the company’s premier line of luxury tenders and the choice of yacht owners and captains who will accept only the best. This made the 12 DLX the obvious choice to customize and promote awareness to this worthy cause.
