Superyacht Australia is proud to announce that Australia once again impressed the superyacht industry at the 2015 Monaco Yacht Show. Exhibitors from the Australian pavilion have all reported a successful show.
Standing out and putting Australia in the spotlight at the show was Australian manufacturer Silver Yachts (previously Hanseatic Marine), who received the prominent Finest New Yacht Award for the all-new mega yacht Silver Fast, the world’s largest and fastest aluminium motor yacht with conventional propulsion, capable of speeds in excess of 27 knots and a cruising speed of up to 20 knots. Launched earlier this year, Silver Fast made the three week journey from the shipyard in Australia to Monaco with only one fuel stop. This win provided an excellent focus towards the Australian superyacht industry.
Superyacht Australia is also excited by the new legislation presently in parliament, and encourages Captains and owners to utilise the services of member agents, who are totally across all aspects of the superyacht charter regulations and will simplify the process for visiting superyachts.
