The Australian Pavilion is once again expected to be very busy at the world’s largest equipment trade show, METS – the Marine Equipment Trade Show 2012. The Australian Pavilion exhibitors will bring high quality, plenty of innovative products well established within the global arena as well as other new products that will be introduced to the market.

Located in Hall 11, some 30 Australian marine export businesses will be in Amsterdam to do business. These include; Austral Propellers, Adit Marine, Aqualuma Marine Lighting, Austral Propellers, Barniclerid, Barz Optics, Coursemaster Autopilots, Glowfast Marine, GME, Happy Captain, Hydrive Engineering, Kinetic, Marine OEM Supply, Marine Tech Industries Australia, Marine Tuft, Muir Winches, MultiPanel, Palm Plastics, PolyFlex Group, PowerDive, Raeline, Release & Retrieve Boatlatch, Ronstan International, Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, SOS Marine, Steber International, Superior Jetties, TMQ, Top Gear Marine, VEEM Propellers and Vuplex (see company profiles below).

The Australian International Marine Export Group (AIMEX) and exhibitors will host the highly sought after invitation only networking event; The Australian Outback Party where Australian food and wine will accompany a vibrant evening of networking and entertainment on Wednesday 14 November. This event is held in the Outback Café alongside the Australian Pavilion in Hall 11.

New to the world and innovative products to look out for include the Palm Plastics recently launched Marc Newson designed range of unbreakable drinkware, the Happy Captain innovative boathook designed to make mooring a boat safe and simple and Barnicle Rid an electronic anti fouling system that prevents barnacle growth. Marine Tuft will also be displaying their new carpet colour range.

Australian Exporter of the Year VEEM Propellers will be at METS 2012 as well as other industry stalwarts Steber International, Aqualuma Marine Lighting, Muir Winches and PolyFlex Group.

The Australian marine export industry has been resilient throughout the challenges of the current economic climate, many businesses diversifying and developing their products ensuring new to the world, competitive, high quality and innovative wares available in the market.
