Perini Navi and Picchiotti, both companies of the Perini Navi Group, have recently signed an Authorized Service Facility Agreement with Rybovich. This will see the companies formalize and intensify their global collaboration to provide professional service and support to the fleet of Perini Navi and Picchiotti yachts on both sides of the Atlantic.
Historically Rybovich has regularly performed service and refit work on Perini Navi sailing yachts in the United States. Most recently, this summer the 56m (183ft) charter yacht ZENJI and the 64m (210ft) charter yacht FELICITA WEST were both completely overhauled at Rybovich, with the rigs coming out, extensive driveline service and full paint jobs.
Picchiotti has successfully delivered several motor yachts to their signature design. Their latest flagship, the 73m (240ft) motor yacht GRACE E, presented to the world at the Monaco Yacht Show last month, will be heading for the United States next year and will visit the Rybovich facility in West Palm Beach for its State side service work.
Both parties see this agreement to be much more than a formalization of the current events. Perini Navi and Picchiotti will be able to use the Rybovich facility as their authorized service and warranty work for their yachts in the United States. Equally Rybovich will have access to and support from the Perini Navi facilities, engineering and yard team in La Spezia and Viareggio for their warranty work and additional refit support in Italy. An important and integral part of this agreement will be the mutual exchange of documentation and know-how, employee training and general skill advancement. Also, the technical upgrade packages for the Perini Navi sailing yachts can now be offered to be installed at both sides of the Atlantic with full warranty, making it more convenient for the owner’s to fit this into the yacht’ s busy schedule.
Perini Navi and Rybovich believe that global assistance and service will become increasingly important to super yacht owners in the future and this collaboration will be a significant step forward in the professionalization of this sector of the yachting industry.
