The renowned Italian shipyard, Azimut was present at this year´s Miami International Yacht Show, exhibiting its masterpiece of equilibrium and harmony, the 35.5m Grande 116 motor yacht Cinque. Designed by well-known Stefano Righini to be completed with lovely interior by Carlo Galeazzi and touches that reflect the owner’s personality, the Cinque superyacht is elegant, agile as well as swift.
“Grande” means great. Great comfort, great prestige, great space and above all, a great possibility to personalize the areas to reflect taste and meet the owner’s requirements.
Consisting of planing yachts over thirty metres, Azimut Grande is the most exclusive yacht range in the Azimut collection with a renewed vocation in terms of personalization.
Since January 2011, together with other Benetti gems, it has formed part of the Azimut Benetti Group’s “mega yacht” business line.
The ambitious design brings together Azimut’s recognised technological leadership in high-performance boat building with Benetti’s experience in developing custom solutions and managing customer relations during the different construction phases: Azimut Grande has benefited from Benetti’s expertise in advanced design and construction technologies in the mega yacht sector, and boat owners now have a wide range of options thanks to Benetti’s semi-custom boat production.
Owners of the Grande Collection models can build the boats of their dreams by taking an active part in fitting them out starting from the drawing board, even before construction commences at the Viareggio shipyard.
The magnificent 35.5m luxury yacht Cinque has been designed by Stefano Righini in perfect harmony with Azimut’s styling department, while the inside decoration was done by Carlo Galeazzi.
A combination, which has created a project guaranteeing the Azimut customers maximum flexibility, absolutely essential on a yacht of this size.
The external profile creates a slender, elegant yacht, whilst the interiors invite the owner to unleash his creativity; the saloon of the Azimut Grande 116 superyacht Cinque gives the owner an amazing 50 square metres where he can freely express his taste. Whatever the décor, it will reflect the personality of the owner and be his signature look.
The cockpit of the Cinque yacht is one of the most enchanting areas in the world, shaded from the sunshine thanks to the flybridge overhang, can accommodate up to 10 guests around a table. Refrigerator, ice maker, flat screen tv and many others the owner can configure the comfort level to his wishes.
On the main deck, the 7.4m beam of the yacht Cinque suggests choosing a table for 10-12 people to be positioned at the centre of the vessel. This location can be easily reached by the crew, who can lay the table and serve meals by accessing the adjoining and well insulated kitchen (integral part of the crew quarters).
Large elliptical full-height windows on the sides illuminate the main deck and the raised pilot house. Six large oval portholes illuminating the guest’s cabins characterize the lower deck.
The owner suite is located in the central section of the lower deck (in the optional version, in the bow section of the main deck) and it is possible to accommodate a customised area (media room etc.) on the main deck and access to the cabin is via a dedicated staircase.
Whatever the layout, the owners shall enjoy a cabin with optimum space, comfort and natural light. Two twin spacious VIP cabins look into the central lobby and are both equipped with large windows.
On the sundeck (more than 70 square metres) the perfect balance between sun and shade can be easily achieved using two independent bimini tops integrated in the hard top, which open electronically and can be used at sea. The stern hatch creates the swim area and allows hauling and launching a tender of over 5 metres as well as a jet sky.
The crew cabins are to prow of the lower deck and can be easily modified either with two or three cabins all with bathroom or with a dining area or a washing and ironing area.
All on board systems conform to the highest standards in terms of quality, comfort and security.
The layout and equipment of the engine room express the result of extensively studied engineering, totally insulated and soundproofed to guarantee minimal noise transmission to the surrounding areas it’s monitored by a control room.
As Paolo Vitelli, chairman of the Azimut Benetti Group says: “Azimut Grande represents a tangible response to the needs expressed by our boat owners: it is an appealing and distinctive line that doesn’t cut corners in terms of comfort and flawless performance. Rigorous trials and tank testing have helped develop a high performance keel that can cruise with ease, even in rough seas.”
With the new Azimut Grande range flagship, the Azimut Benetti Group reinforces its role as a leader in the mega yacht world, reasserting its capacity to anticipate the needs and requirements of the most demanding boat owners.
