The Azimut 53 is a yacht with a great impact, by virtue of very contemporary and meticulous design work. Its decisive lines and sleek profile offer a sensation of elegance and power.. Azimut Grande and Azimut Magellano: “Made in Italy” enjoys a rebirth! The novelty of the season that has just started goes further than the debut of these three new models. From this year, Azimut Yachts offers its clients Azimut Grande: a range of yachts above 30 metres and a portfolio of services dedicated to owners of megayachts. Innovative services that also include the availability of the Personal Design Team, a unique group of specialists that can reach the client anywhere in the World, to discuss the design, collect the individual wishes and quickly present the proposal that will translate dreams into reality.
Furthermore, American boat owners will have the possibility of discovering the Magellano Collection, that is enriched this year with the new Magellano 50, presented at the worldwide preview at the International Boat Show of Genova in October.
The Azimut range is boosted by a new category with the Magellano Collection and offers products that are market-leading in terms of their minimum environmental impact. The Magellano 50 is setting new standards by being the very first yacht that combines family features, total safety at sea and superior comfort underway with low levels of fuel consumption and maximum respect for the environment, proven by certification of the RINA GREEN PLUS class notation.
Designed to deal with long cruises, the Magellano 50 guarantees excellent autonomy and enhanced navigational stability in three speed brackets: displacement at 10 knots, semidisplacement at 16 knots and maximum speed of 22 knots. Maintaining a speed of 7 knots, the yacht ensures an autonomy of 1,400 nm and it is possible to have hybrid motorisation to navigate a long way in near silence.
A well-contained turning circle and precise manoeuvring are characteristics that guarantee the maximum navigational safety and go together with the solution of Active & Passive Safety adopted onboard. The boat is designed to be easily handled by its owner with a large engine room, well-organised installations and systems that can be easily inspected for quick maintenance.
Furthermore, Magellano 50 is the only boat of this size to have a stern lounge area typical of the big motor yachts and offering four different layouts on the lower deck to please the whole family.
The interest shown in the new Azimut Magellano 50 has gone further than the wildest forecasts, with significant commercial success: after only two weeks from its launch, the Magellano 50 was sold out for the whole 2010/2011 season. However, Azimut Yachts can confirm that the boat will be present in the States in the autumn of 2011 at the most important American shows.
Three new dealers: the network grows, the service improves.
The official distribution network of Azimut Yachts is increasing. New dealership contracts have been signed to cover Central America. The new dealers are Ever Marine in Panama, IYG in Colombia and the Landon Marine Group in Costa Rica.
