April 7, 2015, saw the new Baglietto 46-metre displacement motor yacht Hull #217 hit the water at the Baglietto shipyard in La Spezia, Italy. Baglietto 46m superyacht Hull no. 217 is a sister ship to Baglietto 46m motor yacht Mister T (hull #216), successfully introduced at the boat show season last year. The private launch was attended by all workers, craftsmen, as well as management of the shipyard.
The design of luxury yacht Hull #217 is still signed by Francesco Paszkowski who conceived both exterior profile as well as the interiors, the latter developed in cooperation with Margherita Casprini. The naval architecture comes from the Baglietto technical department and the project management has been followed by Yerin Hobson of Arrow Services in Monaco.
The sophisticated and outstanding Hull #217 yacht with grey hull and white superstructure will be soon delivered to her European Owner. She confirms the success of the displacement line presented by Baglietto last year which includes not only the restyling of this model, but also the 43m and the 55m (currently under construction) up to the 58m and 62m. All this range of yachts in steel and aluminum share the same family feeling given by refined and highly identifiable common lines and features and hulls which have always been renowned for the excellence of their yachting and marine qualities.
Besides the displacement line there is the planning FAST motor yachts range with its typical aggressive lines. The first model of 43m will be launched in July and will represent Baglietto at the next international boat shows. A 46m will follow by the end of the year. The range will be completed with an entry level model of 36m in length.
To these two product range which are the core business of the shipyard, it is worthwhile mentioning the MV’s product range with the first MV19 to be considered the “elder sister” of MV13 currently under construction at Baglietto shipyard.
