Baglietto has announced the signing of a contract for a 55m/180ft superyacht, which will be built with a steel hull and alluminium superstructure for a European client.
Baglietto will use its popular and classic platform, the T-Line, which features a displacement hull with lowered gunwales and air vents along the hull and a raked bow. Francesco Paszkowski Design will complete her interior and exterior styling for an effortless transition between indoor and outdoor spaces.
The current layout features over 465m² of guest recreational areas, of which is a 160m² sundeck fitted with a large aft Jacuzzi, numerous sunbathing spots forward and aft plus a place to dine alfresco in the shade. The upper deck will have two outdoor lounges, with the aft lounge shaded by the sundeck overhang while the bow lounge will be exposed and consist of integrated seating and sunpads.
As well as a generous beach club, there will be accommodation across 6 spacious cabins for up to 12 guests.
“This 55m project is the third work order Baglietto has acquired over the last eight months,” Baglietto CEO Michele Gavino commented.
“A time during which we have also delivered two new products – 48m Andiamo and the first MV19 Ridoc – and presented two new projects that will complete our renovated range: A restyling of the 43m Fast and the brand new 70m yacht by Mulder Design.”
“We are working with great commitment to our products, so as to ensure increasingly high quality, as well as a continued focus on research and development. In this way, we are able to offer our clients a varied and versatile range. Once again, having the opportunity to build the yacht on speculation has allowed us to offer the owner faster delivery times.”
The 55m/180ft motor yacht has an expected delivery date of 2019, while work on a 48m/157ft sistership for 2017-launched ANDIAMO continues.
