Italian shipyard Baglietto, which specialises in the construction of aluminium planing yachts from 35 to 50 metres, is pleased to announce the recent sale of their latest hull: the Baglietto 46m Fast.
The luxury yacht, which is to be named LUCKY ME by her Mediterranean owner, premiered at the Cannes and Monaco boat shows. Baglietto Managing Director Michele Gavino commented on the company’s latest achievement:
“We are particularly proud of this sale which comes from a professional effort of each single component of the Baglietto team, and it repays Baglietto for the courageous decision to build a brand new project completely on speculation. A tough challenge in terms of financial and technological commitment, including a new hull with no competition on the market and a revised layout.”
“[Creating the Baglietto 46m Fast was] a challenge awarded by the market’s positive response during the latest boat show season” Sales Director Alessandro Diomedi added, “and which finds confirmation in the owner’s choice not to make any change to the current layout”.
The strong, angular lines most noticeable along her bow and the solid graphite grey of the hull creates a powerful appearance. The exterior deck area is designed with family in mind and the upper aft deck is of considerable size even with a large table and dedicated sun bathing area. Francesco Paszkowski Design worked with architect Margherita Casprini to create the interiors, with rosewood flooring and accents throughout balancing the cool white of the ceilings and side panels to create a welcoming environment.
Capable of up to 26 knots, superyacht LUCKY ME lives up to her project name and also has a reduced draft of 2.1m/6.9ft for cruising in shallow waters, making her an ideal yacht for owners and guests who want to visit a large variety of locations in the Mediterranean on a tight schedule.
