Based in La Spezia, the prestigious Italian manufacturer Baglietto is currently attending the Dubai International Boat Show, along with SYBass (Superyacht Building Association), the international association that unites and represents the world’s leading megayacht manufacturers. Baglietto joined the association in January 2015.
One of the main goals of SYbass is to enhance communication between its members and their clients, promote common interests in the regulatory sector, and ensure compliance with the highest quality standards in the processes applied and the facilities used to build superyachts.
The DIBS is an excellent opportunity to present to the Middle-East market the new Baglietto lines – both displacement and planing, from 35 to 65 meters – as well as the MV (Motoscafi Veloci) line, all penned by Francesco Paszkowski Design. Baglietto currently has 7 new yachts under construction. Besides a 19m prototype from the MV series, a 43m and a 46m from the FAST series, a 46m and a 54m displacement yachts (both sold to European owners), and a new 55m are all at various stages of construction. Building activities have also just begun on a 48m displacement craft, an evolution of the 46m whose distinctive Baglietto lines it retains despite having a longer fly and more livable beach area at its stern.
