The International Seakeepers Society has announced plans for its 25th anniversary celebrations during the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS). The BAL DE LA MER will be a gala evening on Wednesday 25th October featuring a cocktail reception, followed by dinner and awards presentation.
The event will be held at the prestigious Four Seasons Hotel and is expected to attract the most influential members of the yachting and ocean research communities, making it the perfect networking opportunity.
Jay Wade, Board Chair of The International SeaKeepers Society had this to say about the upcoming event and the ongoing mission of the society. “As we celebrate 25 years of commitment to ocean conservation and look back on our accomplishments, we are inspired to continue our collective efforts in safeguarding our planet’s most precious resource, our life support system, a healthy ocean.”
The ceremony will be hosted by Channel 10 News Anchor Louis Aguirre who will present awards designed by 2023 Seakeeper Artist of the Year, Lauren Shapiro.
The International SeaKeepers Society was founded in Monaco in 1998 and is a not-for-profit organisation that facilitates oceanographic research, conservation, and education through direct involvement with the yachting community.
