Sailing yacht PINK GIN VI, the world’s largest carbon fibre sloop, has been successfully delivered to her new owner Professor Hans Georg Näder during a series of events at The Next Generation of Superyachts Symposium at the Baltic Yachts headquarters in Jakobstad, Finland.
Among the events at the symposium was the christening of 54m/177ft PINK GIN VI, the launch of MY78 motor yacht BILL and ME and a three day regatta and tour of the shipyard for over 900 visitors.
Before leaving for the Mediterranean, sailing yacht PINK GIN VI led a 100 motor-boat strong flotilla for the Baltic Yachts Rendezvous Parade.
“We are delighted so many visitors were able to join the Baltic Family for this week of special events and to spend time together exchanging ideas,” Baltic Yachts CEO Henry Hawkins commented. “Apart from demonstrating what Baltic Yachts is capable of we had invaluable discussions about the future and taking innovation and construction techniques to another level.”
Sailing yacht PINK GIN VI features the naval architecture talents of Judel/Vrolijk and the interior design talents of Design Unlimited. She offers guest accommodation across 7 cabins: 1 Master suite and 6 guest cabins, while her crew will sleep over 4 crew cabins. Look out for her in the Mediterranean this summer.
