Yesterday, July 1, 2013, saw Bellingham Marine, world-renowned marina builder as well as dock manufacturer, issue the call for photo entries for the company’s 7th annual Calendar Photo Contest. The unique calendar pays tribute to the marina industry and boasts beautiful photography of marinas from around the world.
Individuals and /or marinas interested in submitting photos are invited to submit their entries by August 31,, 2013. A poster announcing the contest and contest rules can be downloaded from the Company’s website. “We encourage marinas to download the poster and hang it for tenants to see,” said Roxie Comstock, Manager of Business Enhancement for Bellingham Marine. “The contest is a great opportunity for marinas and dock owners to show off their property and for tenants to get involved.”
“Each year the level of photography and variety of photos submitted grows,” said Roxie. Last year, over 100 photos were submitted from professional photographers, boaters, marina staff and others. With the popularity of the calendar continuing to spread, the company estimates that over 3500 calendars will be distributed worldwide in 2014.
Guidelines: Submitted photos must feature one of Bellingham’s trademarked products (Unifloat®, Unideck® Unistack® or Bellingham’s timber dock system). Photos of residential and private docks manufactured by Bellingham Marine are eligible as well. Photos must be of high resolution and high quality. If you are not the photographer of the photo being submitted, please make sure photo rights can be extended to the company for use in the calendar. Individuals must be at least 18 years of age to participate.
All photo entries should be submitted to bmi@bellingham-marine.com by August 31, 2013. The name of the individual submitting the photo, contact information, the name of the marina and location should be included with all entries.
Selected photos will be featured in Bellingham Marine’s 2014 calendar. Winners will be announced in November 2013.
