Benetti has unveiled a brand-new 164ft superyacht concept designed by famed international designer Henrik Fisker – the 50-metre FISKER 50. She is a dynamic sporty vessel, spreading over three spacious decks, offering ultimate in luxury lifestyle on board, with such fab features as a convertible upper deck that includes a movie theatre and a gym area.
The well-known Italian shipyard Benetti and acclaimed designed Fisker, have collaborated on this partnership throughout 2015 to entirely engineer the feasibility of this production-optimised superyacht. FISKER 50 has been designed in California while the construction will take place in Livorno, Italy utilising an existing Benetti platform.
The Benetti Fisker 50 brings together dynamic sporty design with flowing sculptural lines, a one-of-a-kind front view providing the yacht with its own recognisable identity. Black carbon fibre accentuates the yacht’s graphics and an innovative, visually engaging layout connects the vessel with the calm of the ocean.
The distinctive from view of the vessel boasts three stainless steel bars, providing her with a radical, imposing and powerful appearance. The captain’s window is highlighter thanks to a characteristic dynamic line, making it one of the recognisable features of the vessel.
The sporty side view boasts a strong feature line running from the front to the rear on all three decks. These lines have been inspired by a perfect regressing wave, creating the visual of a sensual ‘rear’ hip sweeping up like a wave. Sculpt and proportions are featured throughout, with imposing sporty statement in motion. Extended carbon fibre shark fins provide her with an aerodynamic and smooth look, and allow the functionality of incorporating lights to illuminate the ocean at night.
All three decks offer ultimate in luxury living and lifestyle. Each area is designed to enjoy the surrounding views in utmost comfort and luxury. Amongst the amenities are the beach club, spa, several bars, an ocean-facing Jacuzzi, sunbathing areas on multiple decks and water toys such as jetskis and a 6.5-meter tender. Accommodation aboard FISKER 50 offers overnight stay for up to 12 guests in six cabins, serviced by a crew of eleven members with comfortable crew quarters.
The main deck has been designed with its own reception area and a bar facing the port. It includes a spacious saloon that seats up to twelve guests, a bar with chairs facing the ocean with full-height glass walls that slide open to bring it the fabulous ocean breeze. Aft on the main deck is the spacious master suite, which includes an office/library area, bedroom area and an en suite bathroom facility. The bedroom had a retractable ‘flow-down’ terrace with fantastic views of the seas and is further fitted with a fireplace, a royal bed, minibar, a massive curved TV and starlight ceiling. The bedroom finishes with a his and hers walk-in wardrobe.
A large staircase leads guests to the fabulous upper deck that boasts a movie theatre with a large screen and comfortable, reclining beds. At daytime half of this area can be converted into a gym by sliding back the middle beds and removing the chairs. The cinema can accommodate all twelve guests for a relaxing movie night.
Another exceptional place to relax is her sun deck that incorporates rear-facing area to unwind, a dining table, a bat and a dual-use fire pit or enlarged ice bucket in the centre of a circular sitting area for twelve.
FISKER 50 has an exterior that incorporates lightweight carbon fibre accents, reclaimed wood, integrated solar panels and optional hybrid power. Solar panels with a special graphics for aesthetics, offer unique ambient deck lighting, using solar power stored during the day. The interiors are characterised by advanced and sustainable materials, and the latest in technology for automated controls and optimal power management.
