Bering Yachts has announced a new order for the construction of a BERING 106 luxury yacht, which was signed for at the Monaco Yacht Show 2018 that took place in September.
The 32-metre semi-custom superyacht features an exterior profile different from all the previous models from the shipyard, sporting a sturdy, expedition-yacht appearance with an almost plumb bow and extensive glazing to protect the outer walkways.
A broad and deep swim platform provides easy access in and out of the tenders, and the main deck aft, foredeck, upper deck aft and sundeck provide an abundance of outdoor entertaining areas for a group of eight or additional visitors while docked. The foredeck, in particular, will be a favourite outdoor haunt, fitted with a Jacuzzi and sun loungers as well as an alfresco seating and dining area.
The sophisticated interior is ideal for celebrating special occasions and fits right in with the glamour of Monaco or Miami: The open-plan living space uses gloss textures to amplify the light coming through the broad windows. The forward formal dining area seats up to eight guests to a lavish meal, while beside the doors to the main deck aft there is a wine chiller ideally close to the symmetrical setting created by the two sofas and armchairs.
The Master suite is placed upon the upper deck immediately behind the Captain’s cabin, making use of the upper deck aft as a terrace immediately outside the bedroom. Across the main deck forward hosts an island kitchen and the lower deck contains the rest of the guest accommodation, two crew cabins, a company cabin and a games room for indoor entertainment in the evenings and during transit.
As with other Bering Yachts vessels, the new BERING 106 will be capable of transatlantic journeys with a range of 4,000 nautical miles at an economical 9 knots, all while providing top-of-the-range stability, comfort and fuel efficiency for yachts of her size range.
