Luxury yacht builder Bilgin Yachts has launched the largest yacht ever built in Turkey, the 80-metre mega yacht Tatiana. The yacht is now ready to be outfitted with the delivery scheduled for spring or early summer 2020.
Currently, there are three units of the Bilgin 263 model under build at the yard, with the second hull, already sold and to be launched in 2021. The third hull will be delivered to her owner in the same year. One of the most important features of the 80-metre series is the eco-friendliness, with yachts being fitted with a special exhaust system that has 100% clean air emissions.
Striking exterior lines instantly draw attention and combined with modern interiors, Tatiana offers her owner and guests an inviting environment onboard, with a fresh yet luxurious feeling. Macassar ebony, eucalyptus and marble have been used throughout creating a strong image.
Emrecan Özgün, CEO and the Founder of Unique Yacht Design, describes the brand-new 263 series as follows: “With her design and comfort elements, the Bilgin 263 is truly one-of-a-kind. We created a very attractive yacht with a sleek and sexy profile while avoiding high dosage design clichés. The increase in living areas normally results in bulky designs. The Bilgin 263 has a design attitude that will dominate the yachting sector around the world. This will clearly make her a trendsetter among steel-aluminum superyachts of today.” Toby Sturge of H2 Yacht Design says, “He was asking for a layout that was unique to his own requirements and one that people would certainly remember and differentiate among many other 80m yachts. As H2 Yacht Design team, we focused on the owner’s wishes and turned them into a comfortable, luxurious yet functional interior. Timeless understatement is indeed the recurrent theme on board.”
Powered by two 2,560 kW engines, Tatiana’s maximum speed is 20 knots, while the cruising speed is 12 knots, with fuel consumption as 250 l/h. She is constructed in compliance with IMO Tier III certification and is considered to be the most environmentally-friendly yacht in her class at the moment of her launch.
The third unit of the series is currently under construction together with the shipyard’s 85-meter mega yacht which is scheduled for delivery in 2023. In addition, Bilgin is building an on-spec project, a 67-meter yacht due in 2022, while the latest project is a 50-meter yacht that is planned to be produced in the near future.
Both vessels were designed by Unique Yacht Design, offering modern lines, vast interior and exterior living areas.
