Bilgin Yachts has announced the launch of the first hull in its 80m/262ft flagship mega yacht series: BILGIN 263. Launched from the company’s metalworks facilities in Yalova, she has now been towed to the new facilities at the Istanbul West Marina, where she was placed into one of the 90m+ slots in the superyacht hangar for work to continue.
The shipyard has chosen two renowned designers that the yard has worked with before on a number of occasions: The exterior will be completed by Unique Yacht Design and the interiors by H2 Yacht Design, which have a focus on clean and contemporary furnishings and decor.
The largest superyacht constructed in Turkey to date, BILGIN 263 is built to ABS classification and LY3 compliance. The optimised, tank-tested hull ensures that the owner will receive outstanding performance for range and efficiency. One of the outstanding features of the BILGIN 263 is her spacious beach club, which is fitted with an expansive pool.
“Today is another proud day for our company,” commented Bilgin CEO İsmail Şengün. “We are happy to see how beautiful the boat is and really look forward to presenting her to the world in a couple of years.”
BILGIN 263 is expected for delivery at the end of 2019, with a sistership following six months behind. Bilgin is also building a second motor yacht in the Bilgin 156 series to join 48m NERISSA.
