Following her successful launch in May, the beautiful and elegant classic motor yacht CLARITY has been delivered to her Owner. CLARITY superyacht represents the second Classic 160 yacht by the Turkish shipyard Bligin Yachts and is the sistership to the equally-beautiful 2012 superyacht TIMELESS (ex M&M). CLARITY is currently in Istanbul, Turkey at the west Istanbul Marina, where she is waiting to be shipped from Tuzla on a cargo ship to Florida – Fort Lauderdale to participate in the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show taking place end of October.
Last October the shipyard has decided to perform a number of changes aboard the second Classic 160 yacht, which was at that time at the shipyard under construction. Not long after, she was sold to her current owner. Bilgin Yachts worked on Clarity since October 2014, and, at the time of her sale in April, she had 85% of the changes finalised.
Bilgin Yachts made changes to the crew quarters and moved them from the original bow/lower deck section to the aft lower deck section. The crew quarter is now larger and has three en suite crew cabins, as well as two access points; one from the galley and one from the lower deck guest corridor with an electronic pass card for the crew only. The door in the lower deck guest corridor is a ‘hidden door’ which is the same as the wall panels. The crew only need to hold up the card and the wall panel will slide to open access to the crew quarters. This feature is an elegant way of creating access to the crew quarters without disturbing the overall design of the yacht.
The forward main deck master cabin has also been extended by approximately 3.5m, replacing the bathroom with a large and very comfortable, elegant walk-in wardrobe with plenty of LED illumination in each shelf. The spacious bathroom was moved to the previous crew quarter section which was previously located at the front lower deck.
Motor yacht CLARITY is now a 5-cabin very luxurious gentleman’s yacht, accommodating all crew safely in the lower deck aft starboard section. The starboard aft double guest cabin has been eliminated, creating space for the laundry, converting all of the area into a good-sized crew quarter. Captain’s double cabin remains at the original location behind the bridge.
Main deck saloon got some minor changes, which can be seen on the photographs, boasting beautiful loose furniture. The upper deck features a large bar and the sun-deck floor has been modified to a teak floored sun-deck with surrounding LED illumination all over the edges. The underwater section is now surrounded with very high quality LED underwater lights and the Portuguese bridge in front of the helm station has been doubled in size in comparison to M&M, who’s name was recently changed to TIMELESS.
The aft passarelle is now hidden. On TIMELESS she was mounted to the aft section outside of the boat and during the navigation it was positioned upwards.
All the changes carried out on board CLARITY yacht can be done to the Classic 160 yacht TIMELESS if required. It takes about 10 months to apply these changes. Motor Yacht TIMELESS is available for sale and if the new owner doens’t require the above changes, she is ready to cruise in a brand-new condition.
