Benetti in Italy has announced the launch of the second B.NOW 50m Oasis Deck Motor Yacht ALUNYA, representing the steel model of the Oasis Deck© design series, inspired by the yard’s iconic canons.
Some of the most important features of this vessel include her redefined traditional stern that incorporates hydraulic winged terraces port and starboard that extend the width of the deck. This allows for a vast 90 sqm beach club and exterior living area offering 270° of amazing panoramic views from the stern. The beach club has been fitted with an amazing glass-walled infinity pool and plenty of areas to socialise.
ALUNYA has been designed with safety, comfort and conviviality in mind, offering excellent indoor/outdoor flow with the main saloon leading onto the Oasis Deck©. The exterior styling and the concept design were created by the well-known British studio RWD, while her naval architecture is by Pierluigi Ausonio Naval Architecture. Her spacious and inviting interiors were created by Benetti’s in-house design department HUB Designed, which closely collaborated with the yacht’s owners.
The Benetti B.Now 50m Series superyachts come with 10 or 12 guests accommodation, and the owner of ALUNYA has chosen to have five guest staterooms, with the owner’s suite located on the main deck forward. This spacious stateroom also offers a study area, a large ensuite bathroom as well as a terrace. The rest of the guests’ staterooms are located on the lower deck. There are further six cabins for her crew of 10, including the Captain.
Tenders and toys have also been thought of carefully, with a smart storage solution pithing the bow, and include space for a tender of up to 5,65m, jet skis and plenty of water toys. The tender is launched through a hydraulically operated hatch starboard.
Spreading 50 metres in length, ALUNYA has a beam of 9,2 metres and is powered by twin MAN v12 1,400 hp engines and two Kohler 118 kW generators that provide her with a 4,500 nautical mile range at 12 knots. She has a maximum speed of 15 knots and is also fitted with a pair of electrical stabilisers. She is scheduled to be delivered at the end of July 2023, ready for her maiden voyage with the proud owners on board.
