As Asian economies continue to power ahead, Singapore’s economy stands out with a projected 15% growth.
Riding on this strong growth and to provide a platform for leisure marine industries seeking growth in Asia, Boat Asia 2011, South Asia’s largest and longest running boat show, will return for its 19th edition from 12th to 15th May 2011 at the beautiful Marina at Keppel Bay.
With dozens of boats sold during the last two Boat Asia shows including four superyachts namely a Horizon, two 24m Pershing motor yachts and a 40m Sunseeker, Boat Asia 2011 will be expanding its land and water display by 15% with a stellar line-up of sailing yachts, luxury powerboats and must-have lifestyle products to meet burgeoning demand.
Making its debut for the first time at Boat Asia will also be a green boating and lifestyle segment showcasing new environmentally-friendly products, catering to those who wish to enjoy the nautical lifestyle while doing their part to protect the environment at the same time.
Mr Herman Ho, Managing Director of TMX Show Productions Pte Ltd, said “We are extremely pleased with the response we have received from potential exhibitors thus far. Since we opened for bookings, almost half of our berthing and pavilion space have been snapped up by established boat manufacturers including Azimut, Fairline, Ferretti, Horizon, Sunreef and Westport. With the strong interest in waterfront living and boating lifestyle, and leads generated from international companies representing established boating and marine-related brands at the recent Genoa, Monaco and Fort Lauderdale boat shows, we are confident Boat Asia 2011 will be a resounding success.”

Marina at Keppel Bay
Nestled on Singapore’s only private island is Marina at Keppel Bay, the centrepiece of the premier waterfront precinct, Keppel Bay.
The Marina complements the waterfront lifestyle offering at Keppel Bay with the luxurious homes – Caribbean at Keppel Bay and Reflections at Keppel Bay, a private marina playground and host of other waterfront amenities and facilities, including Singapore’s first Royal Yachting Association (RYA)-accredited Keppel Bay Sailing Academy and luxury yacht charter privileges to homeowners.
It is the first marina in Singapore to be fully designed and built by international experts, Bellingham Marine. When fully completed, Marina at Keppel Bay will feature state-of-the art concrete berths for 168 yachts, including mega yachts.
Marina at Keppel Bay was recently named Best Asian Marina of the Year at the Asia Boating Awards 2010. Marina at Keppel Bay is also the first marina in Asia to be awarded the 5 Gold Anchors rating from the Marina Industries Association of Australia (MIAA) for excellence in services and facilities.
With premium berthing facilities, fine restaurants and beautifully landscaped grounds on a five-hectare island, Marina at Keppel Bay is recognised as one of Asia’s top marina and lifestyle destinations.
