The first images of the 72m superyacht SOLO have been released by Tankoa Yachts. The official launch is planned for the 1st of August 2018, however, we have the opportunity to bring you some great shots of this new luxury yacht ahead of the official ceremony.
SOLO emerged from the shed a few days ago at the Tankoa Yachts facility.
After being delivered, SOLO will be available for charter in the Mediterranean and will make her first appearance at the Monaco Yacht Show 2018 in September this year.
She was designed by Francesco Paszkowski, who created her exterior profile and interiors. Studio Ruggiero took care of her naval architecture.
Accommodation layout consists of six cabins, including an owner’s suite, VIP suite, two double and two double/twin cabins. A total of 12 guests and 18 staff member can be accommodated onboard.
Some of SOLO’s luxurious features are the touch-and-go helipad, alfresco dining space, Jacuzzi, 6m swimming pool, sauna, beach club and vast sunbathing area, and winter garden.
SOLO is now being compared to the 69m Tankoa yacht SUERTE, launched in 2015. However, not only SOLO is larger, but she also features the underwater exhaust, a side staircase at the transom area, even more spacious main and sundecks and a higher maximum speed of 17.5 knots.
The power comes from two 2,480hp CAT engines. When cruising at 12.5 knots, SOLO is expected to have a range of approximately 6,000 nm.
