Oceanco mega yacht BRAVO EUGENIA has received the prestigious title of ‘Yacht of the Year’ for yachts over 82m/269ft in length at the World Yachts Trophies 2019, held at the end of the Cannes Yachting Festival at the Intercontinental Carlton Hotel.
In March the 109m/357ft luxury yacht also won the first-ever ‘La Belle Classe Explorer Award‘ for Technology and Innovation, presented by Yacht Club de Monaco.
M/Y BRAVO EUGENIA is the first LIFE-designed yacht from Oceanco which was created in collaboration with Lateral Naval Architects and is unique on the market for its innovative layout (such as the single-tier engine room in a yacht of this size), lengthened waterline and fuel-efficient hull design that integrates the latest ecologically conscious technologies.
Due to the engine room layout, there is a less propulsion power is required, thereby reducing fuel consumption. As a result, more room can be given to leisure spaces in the surrounding area. The optimised hybrid-propulsion system, new heat and energy recovery systems and integrated battery systems ensure that BRAVO EUGENIA is running optimally at all times at up to 30% less fuel than a conventional yacht of this size – a factor which surely impressed the judges for her size category.
Due to her diminished emissions, M/Y BRAVO EUGENIA has received ECO notation and is able to operate in all emission control areas.
