Normally, Brødrene Aa delivers complete high speed passenger vessels, but in this project the yard has produced the carbon fiber structure for the new Palmer Johnson 48m SuperSport yacht. The structure is now to be shipped to Palmer Johnson’s yard in the United States for further outfitting and finalizing.

The 48m carbon fiber structure makes an impressive view on the fjord. It is the first build of the new Palmer Johnson SuperSport series. The muscular design has attracted a lot of attention in yacht market.

For Brødrene Aa, it has been both interesting and challenging to construct such a highly complex structure. In order to fulfill the design requirements, accuracy in mould construction and high competence in the vacuum infusion production method is required. “We were honored to get this contract from Palmer Johnson in the first place, and I am sure this project has further improved our competence in carbon fiber boat production,“ says managing director, Tor Øyvin Aa.
