Founded in 2014 by Dimitri Semenikhin to be a customer-facing platform for yachting, the Monaco-based company Yacht Harbour is proud to unveil Brook: the first artificial intelligence for luxury private and charter yachts. This all-new product represents an open and interactive way to answer yacht related questions lighting fast, making yacht search more accessible to potential yacht buyers and yacht charterers.
Through a simple chat interface, users can ask Brook about anything, for example what is the biggest yacht built by Lurssen currently for sale or what is the fastest yacht designed by Terence Disdale. Brook can handle a virtually unlimited amount of questions thanks to its connection to Yacht Harbour’s leading database.
“There is a clear shift in search to a more fluid, interactive experience,” commented Dimitri Semenikhin. “When searching for yachts, people want the flexibility of a human conversation and yet they expect instant results on their own time. This is where Brook matches a real need for an experience that is no longer cluttered by required parameters. In yachting, customers often know what they want and Brook plays a crucial role in getting those customers to the yachts they want much faster than any other system would.”
And how beneficial this new product for yachting would be to luxury charter yachts and customers taking superyacht charter vacations? Dimitri answered: “I believe this new tool will be extremely beneficial to the yacht charter industry as it can quickly and efficiently look up yacht information as well as answer general trivia on yachts. Customers taking yacht charter vacations are in general highly educated on the market and they want to have instant access to the specific information they need, without having to be bound by numerous search interfaces. Brook acts as one of the most open interfaces in this regard. For the luxury yacht sector as a whole, I believe it is a great system as it will allow it to become even more open to prospective clients.”
