The Florida based Broward Shipyard, known for their spacious, good quality and well priced motor yachts and military vessels, is very proud to announce a new and exciting ‘Columbus Series’ motor yachts. The first class Broward Columbus expedition yachts have been created in collaboration with the world renowned Donald Starkey of Donald Starkey Design with the first vessel being the 44.50 metre Columbus 146 superyacht.
The yard named this new series of motoryachts the “Columbus” series as it is their aim to bring the customers back to the United States with regard to realising new construction projects and not only at Broward shipyard, but also at the shipyards of their United States colleagues who have proven that they are more than capable of delivering the finest yachts built.
It was Christopher Columbus who completed four voyages across the Atlantic Ocean that led to general European awareness of the American continents in the Western Hemisphere and following his footsteps in a time that customers are more and more looking for value for money.
Due to the fact that the yard organised itself towards a “lean and mean” project organisation, whereby they will execute the project management, including design development, naval architecture and engineering and the core disciplines in house, they will be working with a careful selected group of subcontractors and suppliers. They will eliminate risks and safeguard flexibility throughout and most importantly first class and up to date quality, on time and on budget.
As a result of this Broward Shipyard are aiming to be considered as a very dynamic and innovative producer of first class motoryachts. Together with their skilled, experienced and dedicated craftsmen and carefully selected and reliable strategic partners and suppliers they shall offer unique, new and fully specified “Columbus 146” expedition motoryacht with attractive prices and with extended warranties.
